Nuuk

On the flight to Nuuk from Kangerlussuaq. It's obvious it hasn't been long since ice covered this land.
The pilots were unsure about the purpose of all the knobs and buttons. So Galen went up and clarified a few things.
This team travels by bus.
And by foot.
A day-before-race interval session with the girls. (I stole the workout plan from the UAA team).
Ravnedalen ski stadium
Our sleeping quarters

In the freesskiing world, this is called a "grab". Max knows there are no extra points for shredding, but he only does this sport for the style, anyway.

Notice anything strange about this scene?
That's more like it.

I have other photos of this scene, but I like this one the best.

This is the closest race I saw all day. It went all the way to the wire.
Roan.  Holding court in Norwegian.
