Rollerski Life

Here we are, doing our thing this morning:
Today was a day of drills. Andrew demonstrates what he wants from the boys.

The girls must have gotten together and decided pink/purple were going to be the colors for the workout.

I've been told there are some people who think Alaska is all igloos and polar bears.  While there may be some truth to that, the buildings in the background should be sufficient proof that not all our buildings are made of blocks of ice. On the other hand, I got chased by a polar bear right after I took this picture.

Coach Andrew, Marine, Synnøve, Patricia.

  2. Yikes, Lasse! Do you want to know about the weather? Today we TIED the all-time record for most rainy days in a row in Anchorage! 18 days. It's raining now as I write this. If it's still raining at midnight (in two hours), we'll break the all-time record. We've got new freshmen who've been here for weeks and haven't seen a dry day yet. They're probably wondering what they got themselves into! http://www.adn.com/2013/09/13/3073271/anchorage-ties-record-for-most.html
