Last week was an intense week for the UAA Ski Team with four races in seven days, in addition to school and everything else. So on Monday, the team took a well-deserved break from the afternoon strength workout to visit a local elementary school where we had been invited to ski with the kids after school in the schoolground. The weather was perfect - warm and snowy - for skiing around the soccer field, having races, and skiing down the sledding hill. The Lake Hood Elementary skiers and the UAA Ski Team enjoyed skiing together and we all made some new friends.
