Snow Day!

It has been snowing along the Anchorage Hillside, so today the Skiwolves loaded up their skis in the van and drove up the hill to Glen Alps for some Powerline Pass classic ski action. I couldn't make it to practice today due to other commitments, but I did get my hands on these photos of this morning's workout from various Seawolves.

My goal for this season is to be able to ski with Chase when we are working as wax test "pilots" this winter. It's not making it any easier that Chase is getting on snow earlier than me.

Under the powerline.

I don't know which Seawolf this is, but it is obviously a high-steppin' one.

Workout instructions before the first ski outing of the year are always, bring your rock skis. But it looks like they weren't necessary. One Seawolf claimed the ski conditions today were "hellagit". I think that means it was good.
